Junior Chamber International Hong Kong 2023 Inaugural Ceremony was successfully held on 8 Jan 2023.
Junior Chamber International Hong Kong NOM and LOM Board of Directors were successfully installed, witnessed by Guest of Honour Dr Ko Wing-man GBS, BBS, JP, over four hundred distinguished guests from 21 local chapters and oversea chapters.
JCI Kowloon Inaugural ceremony
JCI Kowloon 2023 Inaugural Ceremony was successfully held on 13 January 2023.
We are happy to have a physical inaugural ceremony with around 100 guests after the pandemic, including 20 oversea delegates from 3 sister chapters to witness the first big event of the year.
Thank you to JCI Nagoya from Japan, JCI Pan Mac delegates from Macau, and JCI Capital delegates from Mongolia for joining the event from afar.
We are honored to invite Dr. Bernard Chan Pak-li, JP, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development of the HKSAR, to be our Guest of Honor.
Congratulations President Theresa Wong and the 2023 board of directors for the successful inaugural.
At the kick-off ceremony, we used green energy by cycling, echoing SDG. The product is from a local innovative startup business from HK_Science_park and represents the innovations of our young leaders that will bring a better world.
Cycling, a healthy exercise, is echoing our Flagship Project Together We Care this year, which is promoting public health awareness and Primary Health Care.
JCI Hong Kong President Senator Kenneth Yu and the JCI Kowloon 2023 Panel of Advisors lit up the light bulbs and inspired our 2023 board of directors to a successful future. The magic floating light bulb lighten up by the Guest of Honor, means the leadership of President Theresa will lighten JCI Kowloon members to an inspirational, international and innovative year, that inspires members’ ability to see changes as opportunities.
INSPIRE – Project Management
“Together We Care” aim to care about the early occurrence of chronic illness in the population and promote healthcare in TCM worldwide between the age of 18 and 45.
On 30th January, the project Organizing Committee (OC) had an interview with Dr. Lin Zhixiu, Director and Professor, School of Chinese Medicine, CUHK.

INTERNATIONAL – IA Event and Visit
The first IA trip of JCI Kowloon members in 2023 – Macau tour on the 7th of January!
Happy to witness the installation of the 2023 Board of Directors of JCI Macau China and our sister chapter JCI Pan Mac in person.
Thank you to JCI Pan Mac buddies for arranging the wonderful one-day tour in Macau.
Members Gatherings
Lucky Walk on the Peak on the 3rd day of every Lunar New Year, is a traditional activity of the Chinese New Year Celebration of JCI Kowloon.
The lucky walk of the rabbit year was successfully held on 24th January 2023. Thanks to the nice weather, members enjoyed the moments of gathering together at this special time.
After the hiking, members go “Yam Cha” and have the Chinese New Year mass greetings together.
